A little bit about me

I grew up in Central Pennsylvania (the Keystone State) and found value in making myself useful in the garden, the garage, or the kitchen. For me, school felt pretty easy once you figured out what teachers were looking for. After college I tried my hand as a dude rancher, a raft guide, and a store manager throughout the country. Each spot offered a chance to learn more skills, handle different personality types, and find a challenge to overcome.

I moved to Asheville in 2012 and spent nearly a decade working at a mental health program and became “The Swiss Army Knife” that was able to manage a wide range of roles. I also honed my therapeutic approach, crisis management skills, and ability to see the big picture. After leaving that organization, I took on positions as an executive assistant - managing scheduling, accounting, and records for consulting practices. Along the way I started coaching folks who needed help with “adulting” and I supported therapists through their credentialing and business start-up.

All of these opportunities have shaped my style as a supportive, relatable, and dependable person that gets sh*t done.

A word on keystones

A keystone is the last stone placed at the top of the arch and it works to hold the other stones in place, allowing the arch to withstand the building’s weight.

I know what it feels like to stare at a pile of rocks and have no clue how to start building an arch. Let’s build it together!
